About Benni Stark

Benni Stark is a German stand-up comedian and host from Kiel. Before turning to the stage full-time in 2015, he spent 13 years working in retail as a menswear salesman. Those experiences on the shop floor feed the observational humor with which he wittily holds a mirror up to his audience.

About Zeche Carl

Zeche Carl is a cultural centre on the grounds of a former coal mine in Essen's Altenessen district. Its programme features concerts, comedy, cabaret and neighbourhood culture.
