MAXIMILIAN LORENZ „ES IST KOMPLIZIERT”

About the event

With “Es ist kompliziert”, Maximilian Lorenz sets out on his first-ever solo tour, stopping at the Ampere in Düsseldorf in October 2027. The comedian has gathered his best material from seven years on stage and talks about the demands of adult life – laid-back, quick and cynical, yet never unpleasantly mean.

Before comedy, Lorenz worked as a management consultant, lived in Munich and nearly became a professional footballer until a knee injury intervened; today he lives in Berlin. Many know him from social media, where his sketches about Munich rich kids, performative Berliners and office bullshit bingo regularly go viral.

Feeling too young to be a millennial and too old for Gen Z, he talks about fears and self-doubt, privileged problems and the search for a partner. The show is aimed at anyone who would rather be cringe than cool.
