1000mods is a Greek stoner rock band formed in 2006 in the village of Chiliomodi, whose name is a play on that location since the Greek word for 'thousand' is 'chilia'. Their sound blends stoner rock with psychedelic rock, heavy metal and desert rock influences. The line-up features Dani G. (vocals and bass), Giorgos T. (guitar) and Labros G. (drums). They released their debut album 'Super Van Vacation' in 2011, followed by 'Vultures' (2014), 'Repeated Exposure To...' (2016), 'Youth of Dissent' (2020) and 'Cheat Death' (2024). Through extensive touring the band has become one of the most recognisable names in the European stoner rock scene.
