About
54 Ultra is the project of New Jersey-based musician John Anthony Rodriguez, an artist of Puerto Rican and Dominican heritage. His warmly retro, bilingual music blends Latin soul, indie pop, R&B and synth pop. Through the first half of the 2020s he shaped his sound with singles like "Sierra" and "Where Are You", before finding viral success in 2024 with the retro-soul track "Heaven Knows". His debut EP, "First Works", was released in 2025. He now tours internationally, including dates in Germany.
