The Adolescents are an American punk rock band formed in Fullerton, California, in 1979. Part of the Southern California hardcore punk movement of the early 1980s, they were one of the key punk acts to emerge from Orange County alongside Agent Orange and Social Distortion. Their self-titled 1981 debut album is regarded as a classic of California punk. Founding bassist Steve Soto was the band's only constant member until his death in 2018, while singer Tony Reflex has appeared on all but one of their albums.
