Amenra is a Belgian band formed in 1999 in Kortrijk, associated with post-metal and sludge. They are the creative core of the Church of Ra collective and are renowned for their intense, ritualistic and emotionally charged live shows. Their catalogue includes the ongoing series of “Mass” albums, which explore themes of loss, pain and catharsis. Frontman Colin H. van Eeckhout shapes the group's sound with a mix of fragile singing and raw screams.
