Anke Jansen is a German actress and singer. Her career began in the youth ensemble of the Städtische Bühnen Osnabrück; after working as a prompter and assistant director and spending two seasons at the Schauspielhaus Hamburg, she completed a diploma in acting in Cologne. She has since performed at the Volksbühne Berlin, the Theater am Schlachthof in Neuss, the children's and youth theatre in Witten and the Theater im Bauturm in Cologne, and also works as a dubbing and radio voice actor. Since 2006 she has been part of the a cappella ensemble Wahnsing. Her solo programme "So oder so ist das Leben – Eine Hommage an Hildegard Knef" has toured German theatres for more than ten years, accompanied by Thorsten Schreiner on piano and Richard Eisenach on double bass.
