Ariana Baborie (born 1988 in West Berlin) is a German radio and television presenter, podcaster, author and comedian. Raised bilingually in German and Persian, she trained as an advertising copywriter before working as a radio host for stations including You FM, Berliner Rundfunk 91.4 and 98.8 Kiss FM. She rose to prominence with the podcast 'Herrengedeck', which she produced with Laura Larsson from 2016 to 2021 and which won the German Comedy Prize in 2020. Her later podcast projects include 'Endlich normale Leute' with Till Reiners and 'Mom & Dadjokes' with her partner Benedict Herzberg. As a stand-up comedian she has performed at NightWash and the Quatsch Comedy Club, and in 2018 she co-hosted the Sat.1 show 'Dinner Party' alternating with Oliver Pocher.
