About
Bell Book & Candle is a German pop band founded in Berlin in 1994. Its founding members are singer Jana Groß together with Andy Birr (drums, guitar) and Hendrik Röder (bass), who had previously played together in the band Rosalili. The group broke through in 1997 with the single "Rescue Me", which reached the top three of the German, Austrian and Swiss charts. Albums including "Read My Sign" (1998), "Longing" (1999) and "The Tube" (2001) followed, and the band opened for Whitney Houston and Roxette on their German tours.
