Blaze Bayley (born Bayley Alexander Cooke on 29 May 1963 in Birmingham) is an English heavy metal singer. He first gained recognition as the frontman of Wolfsbane before joining Iron Maiden, with whom he recorded the albums The X Factor and Virtual XI in the 1990s. After leaving Iron Maiden, he pursued an independent solo career, releasing numerous studio albums including the Infinite Entanglement trilogy and Circle of Stone. He is well known for his relentless touring and close connection with his fans.
