Brig Huezo (they/them, non-binary) is a post-digital choreographer and dance artist working at the intersection of the body, technology and virtual space. Huezo graduated in Contemporary Dance from the Cologne University of Music and Dance in 2021 and received the NRW Award for Emerging Artists in the Performing Arts in 2024. Using motion capture, video games and 3D environments, Huezo creates "phygital" formats in which physical and digital layers overlap. Works include THE GHOST IN THE GLITCH (2026), the final part of a trilogy, PERREANDO HARDCORE (2025), THE DEATH AT THE CODE! (2024) and the interactive installation POST DIGITAL BODIES (2023). Huezo also works in research and teaching, among others as a lecturer at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin and at Ruhr University Bochum.
