Busta Rhymes (born Trevor George Smith Jr. in 1972 in Brooklyn, New York) is an American rapper. He began his career in the group Leaders of the New School and gained wider attention through his guest verse on A Tribe Called Quest's "Scenario." His 1996 debut album "The Coming" launched a long solo career marked by rapid-fire delivery and elaborate music videos. He has since released numerous albums including "When Disaster Strikes" and "E.L.E. (Extinction Level Event)."
