Candy Dulfer is a Dutch jazz and pop saxophonist and the daughter of jazz saxophonist Hans Dulfer. She started playing at the age of six and formed her band Funky Stuff at fourteen. Her breakthrough came in 1987 as the opening act on Madonna's European tour, and her debut album Saxuality (1990) earned a Grammy nomination. Over her career she has recorded with artists such as Prince, Dave Stewart, Van Morrison and Maceo Parker, and has shared the stage with acts including Pink Floyd and Tower of Power. She also hosted the Dutch television series Candy Meets... and served as a judge on the Dutch version of X Factor in 2013.
