Cara are a multinational Celtic folk band based in Germany, bringing together Irish, Scottish and German musicians. Fronted by two female lead singers, the group blends vocals with piano, fiddle, flute, guitar, uilleann pipes and accordion, moving between traditional material and their own compositions. They have been honoured with two Irish Music Awards — Best New Irish Artist (2010) and Top Group (2011) — among other prizes, and have released six studio albums and two live albums. Known for their warm, witty stage presence, they tour widely across Europe and beyond.
