About

Carmela de Feo, born in 1973 in Oberhausen to Italian immigrant parents, is a German cabaret artist, singer and accordionist from the Ruhr region. She is best known for her stage persona La Signora, a spirited, accordion-playing Italian-Ruhr woman on the hunt for the perfect man. Trained in accordion at the Folkwang University of the Arts, she blends music, comedy and cabaret in her solo shows. Her honours include the German Kleinkunstpreis in 2022 and the Bavarian Cabaret Prize. She performs regularly on stages across North Rhine-Westphalia and throughout Germany.
