Chris Isaak (born 1956 in Stockton, California) is an American singer, guitarist and songwriter known for his reverb-laden, rockabilly-influenced sound, frequently compared to Roy Orbison and Elvis Presley. His signature song "Wicked Game" (1989) became an international hit, peaking at number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1991. Over four decades he has released numerous studio albums and continues to tour with his backing band Silvertone. Beyond music, Isaak has worked as an actor, including in films by David Lynch, and hosted his own television series.
