Christin Jugsch is a German stand-up comedian and actress. She grew up in a small village in Lower Saxony and moved to the city at the age of twenty-four; she is now based in Hamburg. Her trademark is vivid storytelling in which she slips into the roles of her characters on stage, from her nephew to her mother to a swimming-pool attendant. Her television appearances include Nightwash, the Quatsch Comedy Club, Stand Up 3000 (Comedy Central), Lunchtime Punchline (ZDF) and the WDR Ladies Night. In her solo programme "Plan A wird durchgezogen!" she talks about the permanent building sites of her life — taxes, dating and finding herself — and the clash between conservative village thinking and urban living.
