About
The Devon Allman Project is the band led by American guitarist, singer and songwriter Devon Allman (born 1972), the son of Gregg Allman of the legendary Allman Brothers Band. After earlier work with his group Honeytribe and the Royal Southern Brotherhood, Allman launched a solo career in 2013 and carried it forward under this project as his touring vehicle. Musically he blends blues, Southern rock and classic rock, drawing on influences ranging from Santana to the Rolling Stones. In 2018 Allman also co-founded the Allman Betts Band together with Duane Betts. Through extensive tours across North America and Europe, the Devon Allman Project honors the Allman family's musical legacy while giving it a distinct, contemporary voice.
