Ebow (real name Ebru Duzgun, born 1990 in Munich) is a German rapper, artist and actress of Kurdish-Alevi background. She grew up in Munich's Westend district and studied architecture in Munich and Vienna, and today lives in Vienna and Berlin. Her lyrics address empowerment, migration, queer feminism, anti-racism and questions of identity, with music influenced by American hip-hop and R&B of the 1990s and 2000s. After early performances in Munich and her self-titled debut album (2013), she released records including “Cane” (2022) and “FC Chaya” (2024). She was also part of the trio Gaddafi Gals.
