About

Eisfabrik is a German electro and future pop band founded by Charly Barth-Ricklefs and Gerrit Thomas. The project sees itself as a complete artistic concept: the musicians appear as fixed characters such as Dr. Schnee and Der Frost, and the live shows rely on light effects, artificial snow and stage figures like a robot or a yeti. Musically the band moves between dark electro and future pop with catchy, cool melodies. Supporting Project Pitchfork and Mono Inc. brought it to a wider audience, and it has played scene festivals such as Wave-Gotik-Treffen and Amphi Festival; its albums include "When Winter Comes", "Eisplanet" and "Null Kelvin".
