Eleanor McEvoy is an Irish singer-songwriter born in Dublin in 1967. She studied music at Trinity College Dublin and spent four years with the RTE National Symphony Orchestra before turning to songwriting. Her composition "Only a Woman's Heart" became the title track of the 1992 compilation "A Woman's Heart," the biggest-selling Irish album of all time. Her discography runs from her 1993 self-titled debut through later releases such as "Naked Music" (2016) and "Gimme Some Wine" (2021). A multi-instrumentalist on vocals, guitar and violin, she blends folk, rock and jazz-influenced styles.
