About
Ella Endlich, born Jacqueline Zebisch in Weimar in 1984, is a German singer and lyricist who moves between pop, musical theatre, chanson and schlager. The daughter of composer and producer Norbert Endlich, she recorded at Berlin's Hansa studios at the age of ten and sang backing vocals on the ZDF-Hitparade. In the late 1990s she had chart success as the teen pop act Junia — her single “It's Funny” reached number 17 in Germany in 1999. She then studied musical theatre at the Bavarian Theatre Academy August Everding in Munich and joined the ensemble of the Bregenz Festival for La Bohème and West Side Story. Her breakthrough came in 2009 with “Küss mich, halt mich, lieb mich”, built on the theme from the film Three Wishes for Cinderella.
