EMF are an English alternative rock band from Cinderford, Gloucestershire, who rose to prominence in the early 1990s. During their initial run from 1989 to 1997 the group released three studio albums. Their debut single "Unbelievable" reached number 3 on the UK Singles Chart and topped the US Billboard Hot 100. Their first album, Schubert Dip, peaked at number 3 on the UK Albums Chart. In 2022 they returned with Go Go Sapiens, their first album of new material in 27 years.
