Evanescence is an American rock band founded in 1995 in Little Rock, Arkansas, led by singer and pianist Amy Lee. The group blends alternative rock and metal with symphonic, classically inspired arrangements and Lee's distinctive soprano vocals. They achieved international success in 2003 with the debut album "Fallen" and its single "Bring Me to Life." The band has won two Grammy Awards over the course of its career.
