Fantasy are a Schlager duo from North Rhine-Westphalia made up of Martin Hein, who performs as Martin Marcell, and Fredi Malinowski, who performs as Freddy März. Both were solo singers working with the same management in the early 1990s; they kept ending up on the same bills, began singing together, and released their first single as Fantasy, "Herz gesucht", in 1997. The breakthrough came later, when Andrea Berg booked them as support on her tours. The 2012 best-of "10 Jahre Fantasy" went platinum in Germany and gold in Austria, "Eine Nacht im Paradies" gave them their first German and Austrian number one in 2014, and "Freudensprünge" (2016), produced by Dieter Bohlen, repeated the feat. Their anniversary tour "30 Jahre Fantasy" reaches several cities in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2027.
