About
Foy Vance is a Northern Irish singer-songwriter born in 1974 in Bangor, County Down, whose music blends folk, blues and alternative rock with a distinctive soulful voice. His 2013 album 'Joy of Nothing' won the inaugural Northern Ireland Music Prize, and in 2015 he signed to Ed Sheeran's label Gingerbread Man Records. He has toured in support of artists such as Ed Sheeran, Elton John and Bonnie Raitt, and his albums include 'The Wild Swan' (2016) and 'Signs of Life' (2021). In 2024 he won an Emmy together with Ed Sheeran and Max Martin for the song 'A Beautiful Game' from the series 'Ted Lasso'.
