Hamburg Spinners are a German instrumental quartet from Hamburg, formed during the 2020 lockdown. The band is made up of Carsten “Erobique” Meyer on Hammond organ, Dennis Rux on guitar, David Nesselhauf on bass and Lucas Kochbeck on drums. Drawing on classic Hammond quartets in the vein of Booker T. & the MG's, they play a swinging blend of soul, rhythm and blues and mod jazz. Through the Clouds Hill label they have released albums including “Skorpion im Stiefel”, “Der Magische Kraken” and “Im Schwarzwald”.
