herrH is the stage name of the German children's songwriter and musician Simon Horn, born 4 May 1984 in Lippstadt. The son of songwriter Reinhard Horn, he grew up surrounded by music, played in indie-rock bands as a teenager and later trained as a primary-school teacher; he works today as a music and primary education teacher. He adopted the name herrH in 2011, signed to Sony Music's Europa sublabel and had an immediate success with his first single „Ich bin ein Pinguin“. His work is counted as part of the „Neue Deutsche Kindermusik“ movement; according to his official site he plays up to 200 concerts a year and his songs have been streamed well over 150 million times. On stage he presents the „KinderMitMachKonzert“, a participatory concert for the whole family.
