Ian Hooper is an American singer-songwriter who grew up in the Pacific Northwest and now splits his time between Berlin and Ireland. He rose to prominence as the frontman and founder of the folk-rock band Mighty Oaks, which he formed in Berlin in 2010 together with Claudio Donzelli of Italy and Craig Saunders of the United Kingdom. With Mighty Oaks he conquered the German charts and performed on major festival stages including Lollapalooza and Rock am Ring. After more than a decade leading the band, Hooper has embarked on a solo career, releasing his debut single "Here To Stay" through Warner Music Germany. His work is praised for its depth and melancholic songwriting.
