Ildikó von Kürthy is one of Germany's most widely read authors and previously worked as a journalist, including for the magazine Stern. Her debut novel Mondscheintarif became a major bestseller and was later adapted into a film, followed by many more successful novels. She also hosts the podcast Frauenstimmen and lives with her family in Hamburg. On her reading tours she presents her books live before an audience.
