About
Jake Bugg, born Jake Edwin Charles Kennedy in 1994, is an English singer-songwriter. His self-titled debut album, partly co-written with Iain Archer, appeared in October 2012 and went straight to number one on the UK Albums Chart. "Shangri La" followed in November 2013 and the largely self-produced "On My One" in June 2016, before the mostly acoustic "Hearts That Strain", produced by Dan Auerbach, arrived in September 2017. After a gap of four years he returned in August 2021 with the more pop-influenced fifth album "Saturday Night, Sunday Morning". He tours regularly across Europe.
