Jezebel Ladouce is a stage persona created in 2009 by the Münster-based tenor Jens Zumbült, performing chansons and German cabaret songs. Critics have likened her vocal timbre to a blend of Marlene Dietrich and Marilyn Monroe with a strong shot of Zarah Leander. Zumbült trained in voice at the Detmold Music Academy and refined his craft through master classes, including at the Stuttgart Bach Academy. The shows combine classically schooled singing with acting, wit and fluid shifts between singing and spoken voice.
