Jimmy Carr (born 1972 in London) is a British-Irish comedian and television presenter known for his pitch-black humour, rapid-fire one-liners and deliberately deadpan delivery. He became a fixture of British television as the host of panel shows such as "8 Out of 10 Cats" and "The Big Fat Quiz of the Year". His international profile grew through a series of stand-up specials released on Netflix. He tours his live shows widely across Europe, including dates in Germany.
