Joker Quartett is a pop string quartet from Oberhausen, founded in March 2013. Its permanent line-up is Melissa Tendick (first violin), Sofia Krebs (second violin), Sophie Dannöhl (viola) and Chéa Mertins (cello). The ensemble arranges pop and rock repertoire for violin, viola and cello and performs it live alongside its own programmes. Besides its own concerts the quartet appears at festivals, corporate events and weddings, and has played for brands including Netflix, MINI and Schwarzkopf. According to the group, its repertoire covers more than thirteen hours of individually arranged music.

The Joker Quartett plays an album release concert at the Zentrum Altenberg in Oberhausen in September 2026. The socio-cultural centre sits on the grounds of the former Altenberg zinc factory.
