Kal-El is a Norwegian stoner rock and doom metal band formed in Stavanger in 2012. Their sound blends hard rock and heavy metal with psychedelic and blues elements, driven by a bass-heavy groove, detuned guitars and science-fiction themes. After the EP "Dark Moon Voyage" (2013) they released albums including "Pakal", "Ecosphere", "Astrodoomeda" and "Witches of Mars". More recently they issued "Astral Voyager Vol. 1" (2025) and "Astral Voyager Vol. 2" (2026) via Majestic Mountain Records and Blues Funeral Recordings, touring extensively across Europe and the United States.
