About
Katherine Priddy is a British folk singer-songwriter, born in Birmingham in 1994, who studied literature at the University of Sussex. Her 2021 debut album “The Eternal Rocks Beneath” reached number one on the Official UK Folk Albums Chart, prompting The Guardian to call her a “folk prodigy.” Her second album, “The Pendulum Swing,” arrived in February 2024 on the Cooking Vinyl label. She has collaborated with artists including John Smith and Poet Laureate Simon Armitage, and has performed at prestigious venues such as Glastonbury Festival and the BBC Proms. In 2025 she supported Suzanne Vega on her UK tour.
