Kay Ray (born 12 September 1965) is a German cabaret artist, entertainer and comedian. After moving to Hamburg, he worked for six years at the Pulverfass Cabaret, where he presented his first solo program in 1996. His stage shows are known for their dark humor: he tells stories from his own life and about people he knows, and performs songs by well-known artists with rewritten lyrics. In 2005 he was awarded the St. Ingberter Pfanne prize. His motto is loud, colorful and brutally honest, with no filters and no taboos.
