About
Kind Kaputt is a German-language post-hardcore band formed in 2016, with members hailing from Leipzig, Eschwege, Nuremberg and Berlin. Since its founding, the line-up has consisted of singer Johannes Prautzsch, guitarist Konstantin Cajkin and drummer Mathis Kerscher, with Fabian Willi Simon serving as a member responsible for the band's visual concept, music videos and artwork. They self-released the EP die Meinung der Einzelnen in 2018 and put out their debut album Zerfall on Uncle M Music in 2019, followed by extensive touring across Germany. Their sound has been compared to acts like Heisskalt and Fjørt, though with a noticeably poppier edge than many of their genre peers.
