About
Klez.e is a Berlin band founded in 2002 around singer, guitarist and producer Tobias Siebert. Its name comes from the Klez computer virus, which deleted the band's first album from the founder's hard drive and forced them to record it again. After early years in indie pop-rock with occasional electronic touches, the album "Desintegration" (2017) moved the group towards a far darker new wave and post-punk sound. Their 2006 album "Flimmern" was named among the most important records of the year by Spiegel Online, while "Desintegration" was album of the week on the station ByteFM. The albums "Erregung" (2024) and "Einmal mehr mit dir gegen die Furcht" (2026) followed.
