About
KOOB is the project of singer Valeria Dele, born in Minsk and based in Berlin. Her spoken-word style vocals move between jazz, funk and hip-hop influences, shifting through different roles within a piece. The band features Lenny Rehm on drums, Wolle Huber on piano and Seth Sjöström on electric bass. Releases such as "That Tree", "Sadder Days" and "Off Head" appear on the group's own Bandcamp page. At the FUTURE SOUNDS 2025 competition for emerging jazz acts KOOB came second, which earned the band a support slot at the Leverkusener Jazztage in 2026.
