About

KrawallBrüder are an Oi! band from Germany's Saarland, formed in 1993, whose sound pulls in punk, rock, metal and hardcore. It began under the name “Frontal” with three schoolfriends; in 1995 they were mistaken at a town festival in Saarlouis for a far-right band of the same name, the domestic-intelligence inquiry was dropped, and the group renamed itself to avoid any further confusion. After splitting in 1998 they reformed in 2001 around singer Pascal and released their debut “Die Fäuste Hoch” in 2002 on their own label, KB-Records. “In Dubio Pro Reo”, the early-material collection “Auf alte Tage”, “Das 11te Gebot” (2009) and “Schmerzfrei” (2014) followed. The band also runs its own podcast, “schmerz[frei]”.
