Kygo

About

Kygo (real name Kyrre Gørvell-Dahl, born in 1991 in Singapore and raised in Bergen, Norway) is a Norwegian DJ and music producer widely regarded as a pioneer of the tropical house sound. He rose to fame in 2014 with remixes and the single "Firestone". In 2016 he released his debut album "Cloud Nine" and performed at the closing ceremony of the Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympics. He has since released further albums including "Kids in Love", "Golden Hour" and "Thrill of the Chase". His melodic productions, shaped by piano and tropical textures, have made him a sought-after international live act.
