Liedfett is a German band formed in Hamburg in 2007 around singer Daniel Michel and guitarist Lucas Uecker. Their sound blends acoustic pop and the German singer-songwriter tradition with punk rock and hip-hop, which they themselves describe as “Liedermaching Untergrund.” Their breakthrough came in 2011 when they won the “Hamburg rockt” contest and released their debut album “Kochbuch.” Later albums such as “Laufenlassen” (2016) and “Phoenix aus der Flasche” (2017) charted in Germany. The band is also known as a supporter of the football club FC St. Pauli.
