Lip Critic is an electropunk band from Brooklyn, New York, that started playing together in 2018 and is signed to Partisan Records. The band has an unusual setup featuring two drummers alongside samplers and vocals. After the EPs Kill Lip Critic (2019) and Lip Critic II (2020), they released their critically acclaimed debut album Hex Dealer in 2024. Their second album, Theft World, followed in 2026, inspired by a strange encounter with a fan who had stolen singer Bret Kaser's identity. To promote the record, the band played shows in unconventional venues such as a laundromat, a basement and a boxing ring.
