Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys is the musical project of South African-born songwriter Lucy Kruger, who relocated to Berlin in 2018. The music blends atmospheric pop noir with folk, ambient and noise elements as well as a coldwave aesthetic. The project is known in part for the 'Tapes' trilogy, marked by austere, haunting production and introspective songwriting. Kruger's work explores themes of self-identity and personal searching, and has been compared stylistically to artists such as PJ Harvey and Anika.
