Maladée is the glamorous “chaos chanteuse” of German cabaret – a stage persona created by Hamburg-based singer, choreographer and actress Susanne Hayo. Drawing on her background in ballet, musical theatre and burlesque, she blends captivating comedy, absurd mischief and moments of pure melancholy into a musical cabaret evening with French flair. Her shows are laced with chansons ranging from Edith Piaf and Dalida to Charles Aznavour, and surprise – the inevitable “Grand Désastre” – is her trademark. In 2025 she won the prestigious German cabaret award “Tuttlinger Krähe”. She currently tours theatres across Germany with her programme “Nachgelegt – Bekenntnisse einer ganz normalen Göttin”.
