Midnight is an American metal band from Cleveland, Ohio, formed in 2003 as a solo project by Jamie Walters, who performs under the pseudonym Athenar. The band blends black metal, speed metal and punk into a style often called "black 'n' roll". Athenar plays all instruments on studio recordings and is joined by rotating, masked musicians for live shows. Notable albums include the debut Satanic Royalty (2011), Rebirth by Blasphemy (2019) and Let There Be Witchery (2022). The band has released music through Metal Blade Records since 2019.
