Moé is the stage name of singer-songwriter Moritz Herrmann from the Ostwestfalen-Lippe region, based in Bielefeld, Germany. Active professionally since around 2015, he has played more than 500 concerts over roughly a decade and released two albums along with several EPs and singles. His contemporary indie-folk blends the intimacy of songwriters such as Glen Hansard and The Tallest Man On Earth with influences from Simon & Garfunkel and the melodic drive of alternative rock. His guitar-driven, introspective songs are built around an acoustic, sparingly produced folk sound that has become his trademark.
