About
Northcote is the solo project of Canadian singer-songwriter and guitarist Matthew Daniel Goud (born 17 May 1985). Before performing under this name, he was a founding member of the hardcore band Means, which disbanded in 2008. His 2009 debut EP 'Borrowed Chords, Tired Eyes' and first full-length album 'Gather No Dust' (2011) launched an ongoing career that blends Americana, folk and indie rock. To date he has released six studio albums. On tour he has shared the stage with artists such as Frank Turner and The Gaslight Anthem.
