One Eye Open is a band from Düsseldorf whose music moves between folk, Americana and singer-songwriter styles. The group was founded by singer and songwriter Majo. Their live sets normally consist entirely of original songs – sometimes melancholic, sometimes rousing, always handmade. The band looks back on a long history with eleven studio albums; their latest record is titled "picture book".
